For you locals out there (that's you people currently in Jackson, MS), the senior exhibition opening is today at 4:30 pm at Jackson State University in the Art Gallery on the first floor of the Liberal Arts building.  That's right before you get to the elevators if you're coming from the front of the building.  So, for those of you who have never been to the gallery, you can't say you didn't know where to go.  I expect to see you guys there.  Thanks.  : )  haha.

Tonight's bible study message was really good.  It was entitled: Did You Get What You Paid For?  We were instructed to write down two things that we expect when we purchase something.  After going around the room, a general concensus was that we wanted it to work how it was meant to and that we wanted it to last.  However, when you really think about it, the most important concern with any purchase is actually "is it what I asked for?"

ok. first of all, until I saw the movie, I didn't realize how little about the movie you learn from the promotional trailers.  I mean, really, you have NO idea what to expect when you decide to go see it.

I am not saying whether or not it was a good movie, I am simply commenting on the fact that it was not really what I expected.  Honestly, I didn't expect anything because as I said, we were told so little in the promos.  I must say, I found it very confusing at the beginning.
