And you all are saying that a poser is someone who wears skate stuff but doesn't skate...WRONG!!! Anybody can go wear a pair of Jordans and they don't have to be a basketball player. a person who, tries (usually to hard)to fit in, but doesnt.
a person who has a board for a month but still has no scratches, doesnt even try to skate it.

For example, the kiddies who wear all skate gear and act like they skate were in reality they don't. The guys(and girls) who go sit at the park with their brand new shoes, deck, t-shirt, ect. and spend all their time talking instead of skating. The people who claim they can do tricks when really they can't. (May even include them taking faked photos of them skating), ect.

I think a poser is someone that thinks they are so good at skating and they don't know how to skate, for me a poser is not someone who wears skate clothes and doesn't skate, or someone who doesn't know how to skate, i mean, we weren't born teched, we had to learn.
